Taylor Joy was unable to study English and believed she would be able to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being forced to change schools. Later she attended Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid who was certain she would be one. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a job as a model.
