Malin Akerman was born Malin Akermanden in Stockholm on the 12th of May 1978. She was raised in Ontario Canada. Akerman gained fame due to her portrayal of Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre I on Watchmen. She also appeared as Lara Axelrod the famous television series Billions. The show is noteworthy because she appeared in naked scenes of the films Guardians and Deplorability Youthster. Akerman was a popular model for many years before she began acting. Her most memorable roles are Silk Spectre II from the Watchmen film adaptation and Lara Axelrod from the TV series Billions.
